This fine art photographic series is my homage to the architects of Venice – to its stone, its silence, its impossible endurance. I’m endlessly drawn to the architecture here: the arches stacked like memories, the balconies worn smooth by centuries of presence. These structures aren’t just beautiful; they’re witnesses. Every column has held the weight of time, every window has framed lives unfolding—conversations, celebrations, grief, waiting. Standing there, you can’t help but feel small and deeply connected all at once.

Shot in black and white to strip everything back to form, light, and texture, these images lean into awe. Awe for the craftsmanship. Awe for the history. Awe for the uncountable number of people who once stood exactly where I stood, looking out at the same canals, living lives that mattered just as much as ours do now. This series isn’t about nostalgia—it’s about continuity. About how beauty, human presence, and story stack up over time, and somehow, still stand.
